Officer Application

Becoming a member of the NCSA Staff is an honor recognizing your commitment both to the progress of the sport of skimboarding, and you dedication to working hard and making things legit. There are a few positions available at this time:

Vice President:
As Vice President, you’ll be making executive decisions regarding events and sponsors. Along with this, you’ll help manage the budget and spending.

Marketing Director:
The Marketing Director plays a major role in the creative aspect of the NCSA. You’ll be promoting events through Facebook, SkimOnline, around campus, and anywhere else you can think of. Flier design, photography, and other tasks may be included in those role as well.

Financial Controller:
Managing the budget, expenses, and financial records of the NCSA will be one of the main roles that the Financial Controller will take on. Other tasks will include pursuing 501(c)3 status as well as keeping accurate accounting records for the organization.

Development Coordinator:
The NCSA has a primary concentration in the Southeastern region of the US. The Development Coordinator would use their network of skimmers across the US to reach out and help facilitate the creation of skim teams across the US.

Southeast Regional Director:
The Southeast Regional Director will be in charge of organizing events in the Southeast portion of the US. Responsibilities will include acquiring permits, set up the contest zone, and find judges.

Northeast Regional Director:
The Northeast Regional Director will be in charge of organizing events in the Northern portion of the US. You’ll have to acquire permits, set up the contest zone, and find judges.
