Congratulations to both the Gator Skim Club and Skim Club at FSU for celebrating their 3rd year and to the LSU Skim Club for celebrating its first semester as registered college skim clubs at their universities this year! Winner of the Survey Giveaway

NCSA Survey

The NCSA is asking for skimboarders across the nation, who are enrolled at a college for the 2009-2010 school year, to compete a demographic survey that will help the NCSA grow as an organization. By completing the survey, you will also be given a chance to win a FREE set of Freak traction.

Skim for a Cause

The FAU Skim Club helped put on “Skim for a Cause” on May 16, 2009 at Deerfield Beach, FL. “Skim for a Cause” was a contest to benefit Invisible Children. The contest was thrown by Island Water Sports and organized by Dewey Adam LeBlanc, the FAU Skim Club President, who was able to raise over $300 for the charity. There were five divisions: 14 & Under, 15-17, 18 & Up, NCSA, and Girls (all ages). The NCSA division was a separate division for all of the college skimmers to compete in. They were also able to enter an age group division for the additional entry fee. There were 12 total competitors in the NCSA division.

NCSA Division Results:
