Congratulations to the 2012 National Champions!
After a fierce round of competition at last weekend’s National Championship hosted by Skim City, USF came out on top once again. The team’s outstanding performance at the Fall Formal combined with their showing at this event helped them take home the National Title, despite the huge level of skill shown by FAU and UM.
Congrats again to all!

2011 Fall Formal Results!
The 2011 Fall Formal was the first event of this year’s contest season, and a huge success. Riders from six different colleges competed for the title of Prom King, but in the end Wyatt Krapf from UM and Corey Cyr from USF took home first place in the two divisions. Overall, USF definitely had the strongest presence in the top finishes, with 4 of the top 8 places.
We’re very grateful for the help of Island Water Sports, and our Prom King Sponsors of the event, Island Water Sports and Wave Zone, who allowed us to continue the NCSA’s contest tour despite the majority of the NCSA staff being college graduates and living across the country. We’re all very excited about the upcoming National Championship in the Spring! Hope to see you all there.

Skim City and Wave Zone crowned as Prom Kings for this weekend’s event!
The Fall Formal is coming up this weekend, and it’s looking like there’s waves are on the horizon! Skim City and Wave Zone have stepped up as the Prom King Sponsors of the event, and we’re extremely happy to have them on board.
Skim City has supported the NCSA since day one, and Wave Zone also has been one of our biggest supporters across the board for the last few years, so it’s an honor to have their support once again.
If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s not too late! Sign up now!

Fall Formal: November 2011
In previous years collegiate skimboarders have been referred to as “slackers,” some have even gone so far to recommend that they go make “par “elsewhere. Despite this harsh criticism that would leave even the most seasoned organizations “powerless,” the college skimboarding movement continues. With the aforementioned imposing no ill effects, but rather stimulating growth in a new direction, the National Collegiate Skimboaring Association would like to cordially extend an invitation to the season ahead.

Results from 2011 National Championship: UCF Wins!
Congrats to the University of Central Florida on being crowned the National Champions of College Skimboarding.
Beautiful sunny weather graced the beach over the two day tournament this past weekend. Competitors from across the nation gathered on Vilano Beach to fight for the title of National Champions, yet none fought as valiantly as the University of Central Florida’s Knights. The UCF Skim Club had an outstanding showing at the 2010 Fall Classic, netting 31 points for their team (more than double any other team).
The title of National Champion is given to the team who’s competitors net the most points in both the Fall Classic, AND the National Championship in Vilano Beach, but as it turned out, UCF won the most points in both events with a total of over 50 points for their team. The full results are listed below.
